PHH ARC Employee Visits Cuban Children

In February 2004, Shannon Smith of PHH ARC Environmental and five fellow members of a youth organization called Canadian Midwest Quizzing had the opportunity to take sports equipment, medical supplies, eyeglasses, money and clothes into the beautiful island of Cuba along with their "quizzing" equipment. The goal was to encourage the Cuban children and bring a little extra joy to their lives! These children in the photo were shocked as Shannon approached them with three of the 96 brand new baseballs that PHH ARC generously donated for this trip. As many of the baseballs went to school teachers or pastors, PHH ARC's gift brought smiles to the faces of more than 1000 children.
