Staff Updates & News
Edmonton Office
Kelly Young has joined our Edmonton office as a Project Manager. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, specializing in Land Reclamation, Remediation and Conservation, from the University of Alberta. Kelly has experience working as a Technical Coordinator for Alberta Municipal Affairs and as a Contaminated Sites Coordinator for Alberta Environment. Elizabeth McDonald is the newest Project Coordinator in our Edmonton office. She holds a diploma in Biological Sciences Technology from NAIT and has experience conducting Phase I & II ESAs. Four new technologist have joined our Edmonton team. Rhonda Langlois holds an Environmental Sciences diploma from NAIT and a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Environmental Science from Acadia University. Niall McEvoy is a recent graduate of the University of Victoria and holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a Geography major. Rene Saade has a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Chemical Engineering from the Jose Simeon Canas University. Originally from El Salvador, he has 8 years experience in the Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety field working in a Salvadorian Oil Refinery. Vic Saif has joined our Edmonton environmental team as a Technologist. Vic comes to us with a degree in Environmental Physical Sciences from the University of Alberta. Joining our administration team are Shannon Sinclair and Jaclyn Valderrama. Shannon joins us from Regina where she worked as an office administrator for a national photocopy company. Jaclyn Valderrama is a graduate of Grant MacEwan College's Police and Security Program majoring in Security and Investigations. She has previous experience working as an administrator in a travel/tour company.
Richmond Office
Deborah Glanville has joined our Richmond office as a Project Coordinator. Deborah is a Professional Agrologist (P.Ag.) and comes to us with experience working in Cranbrook and Smithers for the British Columbia Ministry of Water, Land and Air Protection. Joining our administration team are Sherise Kyles and Brenda May. Sherise has a strong background in marketing and administration, and has run her own business in the past. She also has done some very interesting work in business promotions using streaming media. Brenda comes to us with over 15 years experience working as a receptionist and administrator.
Victoria Office
Kathy Birkett-Roberts has moved from our Prince George office and is now managing the Victoria office. Nathan Dunsdon has joined our Victoria office as a Technologist. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from the University of Victoria.
Calgary Office
Don Jakul was appointed Vice President Southern Alberta. Don was a principal with Canadian QA, a national consulting firm that specialized in ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 systems. Prior to CQA, Don was a Vice President with the Continental Supply Group, an Oil & Gas supply and service organization. Mark Huston has joined our Calgary office as Manager of Business Development. Mark's responsibilities include but are not limited to: marketing, sales, and customer service. Mark was formerly the General Manager of Parkland Industries (FasGas) — Great Northern Oil Ltd. located in the Yukon.
