Whether it's proactive management or construction-specific services, PHH ARC provides timely solutions to protect workers and the environment, while controlling costs and minimizing scheduling impacts.
Proactive Management
Hazardous materials can have a serious impact on building and plant operations and maintenance costs and the value of the building or marketability of leased space.
PHH ARC can provide surveys, risk assessments and management programs to assist owners to proactively manage their risks.
Asbestos Management Programs (AMPs) or Exposure Control Plans (ECPs) are a requirement for asbestos control under provincial regulations. Our experience in all phases of asbestos control means that our Management Programs can be customized and that they are a useful tool for building managers and operations personnel.
Pre-construction Management and Design
During facility demolition or renovation, hazardous materials can impact costs and schedule timelines. PHH ARC can produce documentation to identify and specify all necessary aspects of a hazardous material remediation program which in turn can be incorporated into a General Construction Contract or can be used as a stand-alone document.
Field Reviews and Verification
The inspection of hazardous material removal is vital to verify occupant and worker safety as well as to verify compliance with specifications and regulations. On-site inspection of engineering controls, procedures and worker protection adds significantly to the quality and safety of the work. All PHH ARC inspection staff are qualified, trained and experienced to perform independent project inspection.
PHH ARC's field personnel are also fully qualified in air sample collection and analysis with microscope training and ongoing quality control testing.
