Interview Tips
Be Prepared. Be Yourself.
Interviews are the next step in forming a relationship between applicants and PHH ARC.
There is a lot at stake for both parties. PHH ARC has developed a list of tips to prepare candidates to ensure the interview process is enjoyable and productive for both sides.
If PHH ARC and the applicant are going to take the time to meet face to face, proper preparation can ensure it not only goes well but is time well spent for both parties.
Interview Tips
- Professionalism. Be on time, dress appropriately and have your homework done about the position you are interviewing and about PHH ARC. Show us in the interview you took the time to learn about us and how you might be a good fit with our company.
- Questions. A position interview is not just an opportunity for PHH ARC to learn more about you, it's your chance to learn about us. If you want to know something, be prepared. You are interviewing us just as much as we are interviewing you.
- Seize the Opportunity. This is your chance to meet some of our staff and learn what it means to work for PHH ARC. Introduce yourself and make the professional connection with the people who interview you. Even in the event you are not chosen for the job it can still be a valuable experience for you and you can expand your professional network. It also means you still might be considered at a later date and time. Take advantage of the time and effort you spend coming to an interview beyond just the job you're applying for.
- Relax and Be Yourself. We have a flexible work environment and the people
who can display themselves will have more success fitting in with our corporate culture. Honesty and Openness go a long way at PHH ARC. We need to trust and rely on each other as we work in a team orientated environment and there is no difference with new hires. - Courtesy. Show us you appreciated the interview and the opportunity to meet our staff and managers. We are friendly to each other, contractors, clients and suppliers. Manners and courtesy displayed increases our opinion you will fit in well here.
- Directions. Our Human Resource Manager and other staff involved will review the outcome of the interview and will inform you what the next steps are. Whether an offer is presented or not; the direction presented should be followed and their decision respected. Likewise, if you decide not to take an offer we will respect your decision. The interview is a meeting and regardless of the outcome a professional relationship is important to us. That can only be done with trust and respect from both parties.
