Sediment and Erosion Control (SEC) is now a required component of many constructions requiring excavation.  Municipalities have specific requirements concerning SEC.

What is Sediment and Erosion Control?

  • SEC prevents loss of soil during construction by stormwater runoff
  • SEC prevents sedimentation of storm sewers or receiving water bodies
  • SEC controls the amount of aerial sedimentation (i.e. dust and airborne particles)

How can PHH ARC Assist you in Setting up and Managing SEC on your Site?

PHH ARC will prepare and implement a SEC plan for your project.  The plan will include:

  • Sediment control measures to ensure effective sediment control
  • Water quality monitoring to regulate the sedimentation levels of discharge.
  • Site inspections and inspection report.

PHH ARC will work with you to ensure that the SEC objectives on a project are achieved, meeting all regulatory requirements.
